City Tavern Restaurant

Famous revolutionary eighteenth-century figures such as Paul Revere and John Adams were associated with City Tavern. In their time, City Tavern served as a meeting place for those formulating the actual and ideological details of the American Revolution. Today, City Tavern's upscale menu is inspired by the same type of food served during the Revolutionary War era.

This restaurant is located somewhat close to the Delaware River and South Street, making it an ideal location for people experiencing Philadelphia by foot. Reservations are suggested for dinner. City Tavern also serves lunch.

Moshulu

Moshulu is more than a restaurant--it's a historic ship docked at Penn's Landing. A meal aboard the Moshulu provides a relaxing end to a long day along the Delaware.

Originally built in 1904 to haul copper, the Moshulu was originally known as the Kurt. Throughout the twentieth century, the ship changed private owners multiple times until it was finally converted into an early twentieth-century era boat restaurant. Aside from a spectacular view, the cuisine aboard the Moshulu is notoriously fresh.
