Ledges By the Bay is a hilltop hotel 3 miles north of Rockland center in the quiet Glen Cove neighborhood. It is set on 9 miles of oceanfront property along Penobscot Bay and has direct access to the shore. Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with features such as cable TV, individual heat and air conditioning and free local calls on the in-room telephone. Some rooms have Wi-Fi access, private balcony and mini-fridge. Pets are welcome on a limited basis, with prior approval from the owner. There is also a two-bedroom cottage on-site that can be rented weekly during the summer season. Ledges By the Bay is a family-run resort that has been in operation for over 45 years.

Berry Manor Inn

Berry Manor boasts regally-decorated rooms and delectable multi-course breakfasts. Each of the 12 unique rooms is adorned with rich fabrics and elegant patterns. Some rooms feature romantic canopies, flickering fireplaces and jetted whirlpool tubs. All rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The famous "pie moms" bake the pies that are kept stocked in the guest pantry to satisfy that hankering for a midnight snack. Guests can use the pantry fridge to store small packages of leftovers or chill a bottle of wine. Berry Manor is just a few blocks from the downtown Rockland waterfront and about a 10-minute drive from Rockland Harbor Breakwater Light and Breakwater and Marie Reed Park.

Captain Lindsey House Inn

Built in 1835, Captain Lindsey House Inn is a bed and breakfast with historic charm. Owned and operated by retired schooner captains Ken and Ellen Barnes, the inn has nine unique rooms with modern amenities and antique flair. All rooms have air conditioning, TV in an enclosed cabinet, wireless Internet access, large bathroom, hair dryer and robes. Five of the rooms have fireplaces and a variety of package deals and last-minute getaway rate are available. The inn is located in the heart of the Rockland waterfront district and is just a 10-minute drive from Rockland Harbor Breakwater Light.
