Forestburg's J's Motel & Suites has 25 rooms, some with double beds, and all have a telephone, refrigerator and coffeemaker. There is also a meeting room, for business or family gatherings. Attractions in the area include a public museum and library. In addition, as an old mining community, guest can visit the Prairie Mines mining operations, which currently has monster draglines.

Glass Inn & Artists' Studios

Glass Inn & Artists' Studios, owned by Joanne and Bill, is a small bed-and-breakfast with four rooms and one suite. This setting helps you to enjoy all that rural Alberta has to offer, as each room has a theme. There is the Rose Room, an 1890s hotel "Bridal Suite;" the Shores Room, decorated in the style of the 1920s; the 1910-themed Settlers Cabin; and the Great Room with a "diamond willow" cribbage board. Or, if you are traveling with a group, there is the 1100-square-foot Family Suite, with a multipurpose family room and private bath. Stained glass and woodworking are classes available.
