Mare's Inn

Mare's Inn is a bed and breakfast with four rooms. Two of the rooms are pet-friendly. However, reservations should be made in advance to ensure availability as the pet-friendly rooms book up fast. The inn features a full breakfast, including homemade bread, and is located conveniently to downtown Mystic.

All rooms have a private bath and fireplace. More than two acres surround the house, featuring a walking trail which extends through the woods with benches along the way. There are also areas available for sunbathing and picnics.

Located 5 miles from Ledyard is the Residence Inn Mystic Groton. The Residence Inn allows pets with a non-refundable pet deposit. Also located 5 miles from Ledyard, is the Comfort Inn in Mystic, Connecticut. The Comfort Inn allows pets under 50 pounds, with a $25 non-refundable pet deposit. Only one pet is allowed per room. Within easy walking distance is the Mystic Aquarium and Institute for Exploration. A 2-mile walk will take you to the Mystic Seaport.
