Low Priced Hotels in New Orleans, LA

Low Priced Hotels in New Orleans, LA
Even after Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans is still a vacation destination with something for everyone. For the outdoor sports enthusiast, there is the chance to explore swamp land, hike and bike. For runners, walkers and cyclists, Audubon Park--which also houses the zoo--offers oak trees, lagoons and expansive green space with a paved jogging track that is 1.8 miles. If you are looking to save money while on vacation, there are numerous places to stay that are economical and--yes--fun.

Royal Street Inn

Royal Street Inn is located on a hopping corner in the Faubourg Marigny section of New Orleans and has been dubbed a "bed and beverage." Just downstairs from the Inn is the "R" Bar, which has cheap drinks and a friendly staff. The Inn has five suites, each with a distinctive theme. The "Big One" is a suite for people who want a lot of space, while The Marigny Suite is smaller and cozier. There is also The Mississippi Suite, The Storyville Suite, and La Sirena Suite, located at the top of the Inn. All suites have HDTV with DVD player, iPod dock, cable, A/C and wireless Internet access. While all this sounds expensive, it's not. All suites are priced to move.
