SeaWorld
In addition to Shamu, the killer whale, dolphins and sea lions also call SeaWorld home. Each animal is featured in at least one show or presentation, of which there are 11 as of late 2009. Aside from the animal shows, SeaWorld also offers six rides. Shipwreck Rapids will take visitors through river rapids on a raft-like inner tube, while Journey to Atlantis is a rollercoaster that invites guests to go on a heart-pumping 60-foot plunge. Restaurants and shopping are also available on site.
