The expansive African city of Lusaka, Zambia is blessed with warm, sunny summers and bright, mild winters. Originating in 1930, Lusaka became Zambia's capital in 1935. Today, it pulses with chaotic energy and a variety of new nightclubs, fast-food shops and a multimillion-dollar shopping mall. While the city doesn't seem to have much to offer tourists, it's an ideal place for nature lovers to overnight on their way to Lower Zambesi and Kafue National Parks.

Southern Sun Ridgeway Lusaka

Previously called the Holiday Inn Lusaka, the Southern Sun Ridgeway Lusaka is situated in the city's business district in eye-catching, landscaped gardens. The fresh, modern guest rooms and entire facility feature free Wi-Fi. The hotel offers two dining options: The Musuku restaurant, which serves continental cuisine in either a sumptuous buffet or a la carte dishes, or an Irish restaurant that serves traditional pub meals.

Chrismar Hotel Lusaka
