The Bus and Boat Tour

If you like a little wind in your hair while you see the sights, this is the perfect tour for you. The buses are open-air double deckers, and the bus tour is followed by a canal-boat outing around the harbour and its 14 islands. Features of the hop-on/hop-off bus portion of the tours are Chinatown, the Ontario Art Gallery, the Hockey Hall of Fame and historic St. Lawrence market. Gray Line

Gray Line operates two continuous-loop hop-on/hop-off tours. The North/South Loop, which operates year round, covers the traditional points of interest, but also includes Fort York, the Royal Ontario Museum, Bata Shoe Museum, Maple Leaf Garden and the village of Yorkville, which is known for its upscale shops and restaurants. The East/West Loop operates from June to September with 25 scheduled stops including attractions such as the historic distillery district and the Art Gallery of Ontario. A salute to Toronto's multiculturalism, this tour allows you to soak up the exotic ambiance of diverse ethnic neighborhoods such as Little India, Korea Town, Greektown, Little Italy, Chinatown and Little Portugal, where neither the shopping nor the food is commonplace.
