Motels in Chemult, OR
Crater Lake National Park is a dream for the outdoor enthusiast. In the summertime, the scenery is breathtaking and there is no better place to picnic than on the banks of Crater Lake. The winter brings more than 500 inches of snow to the area, according to the National Park Service, and along with the powder comes snowshoers and cross-country skiers. But while many people enjoy these outdoor experiences during the daytime, not everyone wants to camp at the Mazama Village Campground at night. And the only lodge in the park, Crater Lake Lodge, is closed during the winter months and charges at least $150 per night during the summer. Luckily, the city of Chemult is just 30 miles northeast of the park and offers more affordable lodging options.

The Featherbed Inn

As the name suggests, this motel offers each guest a soft featherbed in which to spend the night. If you are anticipating some sore muscles after your hiking or Nordic skiing adventures, the Featherbed Inn has a special spa room that will help to speed the healing process. You can take a relaxing dip in your own private spa, then settle into a queen-size feather bed. In the morning, after pouring yourself a cup of joe from the coffee-maker in your room, you will feel rejuvenated and be ready to put those boots back on for another fun-filled day in the great outdoors.

Holiday Village Motel

The Holiday Village Motel is actually located a few miles south of Chemult in Beaver Marsh, but because Beaver Marsh is such a tiny town, the city of Chemult has adopted the Holiday Village Motel. Like the village of Beaver Marsh, the motel is very small with just eight rooms. But in the case of the Holiday Village Motel, quality beats quantity; the reviews on Yelp.com declare these eight rooms to be extremely clean and very well appointed.
