Manhattan--the city that never sleeps. There are so many things to do in New York City that at some point, you will have to sleep, even if the city doesn't! The current Waldorf-Astoria was built in 1931 and has 1,416 guest rooms, including 303 suites, with each room being uniquely decorated and no two rooms being alike. There are 40 rooms available for gethering or functions and a 14,000 square foot spa on the 19th floor of the hotel. Restaurants and bars/lounges are plentiful, with four restaurants and three bars, along with room service that has been featured in Gourmet magazine, according to the hotel's website. There are a multitude of guest rooms and suites to choose from, and there are special packages that combine hotel specials with entertainment and shopping opportunities.

Four Seasons Hotel New York

This hotel, situated between Park and Madison Avenues, offers accomodations right in the heart of the Upper East Side. There are 368 guest rooms, including 63 suites, with some rooms offering furnished terraces overlooking Central Park. There is wired and wireless Internet access, a private bar, CD and DVD players and marble bathrooms in every guest room. There is complimentary coffee service every morning and access to the fitness center, as well as twice daily housekeeping. The Four Seasons New York also has two restuarants and three lounges in the hotel. In walking distance of the hotel are Barneys, FAO Schwartz, Fifth Avenue shops, Rockefeller Center and the Museum of Modern Art.

The Premier Hotel Times Square

The Premier Hotel in Times Square, situated right in the heart of Times Square in midtown Manhattan, offers 125 guest rooms and is within easy walking distance of Fifth Avenue shopping, the Broadway theater district and Museum of Modern Art. The New York Palace boasts 899 guest rooms, including more than 85 suites, with many overlooking St. Patrick's Cathedral and the city. Accomodations include Deluxe, Executive, and Towers options, as well as the choice of four triplex penthouse suites, which include rooftop terraces. All accomodations include marble bathrooms, seating areas, high-speed wireless and broadband access, multiple telephone lines and in-room safes. There are spa and fitness facilities, open to all guests, and an array of indoor and outdoor restaurants and lounges within the hotel, as well as 24-hour room service.
