China Cottage

With several locations in the Dayton metro area, China Cottage is a local favorite. Located along a heavily-populated stretch of Far Hills Avenue, China Cottage is recognizable by its intricate Chinese-style building with Shi Shi dog statues guarding the entrance. This location, minutes west of Centerville, opened in 2006, and with its prime property in front of the Dayton Mall, there is often times a wait. Be sure to make reservations on prime dining nights. The atmosphere is a "Unique environment combining the influences of Chinese and American cultures," according to P.F. Chang's website. If you decide to delve further into the menu, Chang's Spicy Chicken is routinely recommended by the servers. If spicy isn't your thing, the Honey Shrimp and Honey Chicken are sweet and crispy. P.F. Chang's also has started offering a kid's menu and a gluten-free menu. Pair your meal with one of the many delicious cocktails or try a pot of the Dragon Eye Oolong Tea. If you are still hungry after all this, The Great Wall of Chocolate™ is always a tempting decadence. This is a perfect place to fill you up after an intense day of exploring the acres of Grant Park.
