Italian Restaurants in Madison, Wisconsin

Italian Restaurants in Madison, Wisconsin
Madison is the capital of Wisconsin, with its downtown area and capital building situated on an isthmus running between two lakes. Not only is Madison, Wisconsin, the second-largest city in Wisconsin, but it is home to the University of Wisconsin college campus. Because of the diverse population in Madison, there is also a diverse collection of restaurants within the city limits. Italian restaurants, for example, are plentiful and inviting.

Lombardino's Italian Restaurant & Bar

Lombardino's is an Italian tradition in downtown Madison dating back to 1954 when Matt Lombardino first opened the doors to this neighborhood eatery. While the restaurant now has new owners, the interior of the restaurant remains largely unchanged. Patrons enjoy an interior fountain just inside the entrance, Italian chandeliers and even a large mural of a Venice landscape. The Lombardino's menu is full of fresh cuisine (with some of it organic and grown locally). The wine list is extensive with special thought about what will complement the different menu items. Lombardino's menu is mid-range with entrées ranging from just under $20 to just under $40. Look for nightly specials as well.
