Newtown is a small scenic town located in Fairfield County in Southwestern Connecticut and located about sixty miles from New York City. Newtown offers a unique outdoor sport: frisbee golf, a cross between golf and frisbee. The sport is also referred to as disc golf and has it's own professional association. The town also has hiking trails, parks, swimming, tennis, horseback riding, golf, and boating.

The Dana Holcombe House

The Dana Holcombe House is the only accommodation in Newtown. It is a classic New England style inn, with dining on the premises and a large garden and patio that often hosts weddings. The Inn is a traditional bed and breakfast and has six guest rooms, two of which are suites. Several guest packages, including weddings and spa packages are available. The Dana Holcombe House is centrally located to all outdoor activities in the town. Each room has a private bathroom and flat screen television with cable.

Danbury is the closest traditional hotel to Newtown, located 15 miles from Newtown.
