Sarlat is a small town in France, whose rural beauty offers visitors the chance to hike, mountain bike or go jogging. Since it is an old town, it only has boutique hotels. So while you might not find a brand name hotel here, you certainly will be able to stay in cozy, quaint accommodations.

Hotel Clos La Boetie

The boutique Clos al Boetie hotel is located five minutes away from the Sarlat's town center. While all of its eleven rooms are decorated differently, each room has personal air conditioning, cable televisions, separate living, sleeping and dining areas, free wireless internet and hydro-massage showers. Some rooms come with private terraces which allow guests to have specular views of the city. For those who are looking to exercise, there is a fitness room with cardio machines and weights, and an indoor heated swimming pool and sauna. The hotel also has free on-site parking and complimentary transportation into the town. For business travelers, there is a business center with computers, Internet, copy machines, and printers.

Hotel La Hoire a Sarlat

The boutique Hotel La Hoirie a Sarlat was built from an 18th century shooting lodge. It has 19 rooms that all have personal air conditioning, cable television, and dining tables. The hotel also has two apartment suite rooms with separate living, dining and sleeping areas, kitchens with refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves and private terraces. There is no fitness center or swimming pool at this hotel, but it is close in proximity to some of Sarlat's public gyms. There is also no room service but for fine dining, check out the hotels in-house restaurant that services French cuisine cooked in the famous Perigord tradition for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

Hotel des Recollets

Hotel des Recollets in Sarlat, France offers guests their choice of 18 rooms, which all come quipped with cable television, free wireless Internet, personal phone lines and coffee and tea makers. Among the 18 rooms, there is a selection of twin and triple bed rooms, as well as a quad room that fits up to four people. Guests who visit the hotel with their own automobile will enjoy the hotel's free parking area which is adjacent to the hotel itself. Motorcycles can also be parked in a private cycle garage, but guests have to give prior notice first. Though there is no in-house restaurant in this hotel but a small dining area in the lobby where guests can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast each morning.
