Hotels in Chelsea, Massachusetts

Hotels in Chelsea, Massachusetts
Chelsea, located on Boston Harbor, sits just across the Mystic River from downtown Boston. Its proximity to Logan International Airport as well as downtown make it the ideal location for business travelers or families planning a trip to Boston. Boston is best seen on foot and is one of the more walkable cities in the country. History buffs can pick up the the Freedom Trail in at the Bunker Hill monument and follow the 2.5-mile red walking trail past 16 historic sites. While 2.5 miles doesn't seem like a long distance, the sights, attractions, pubs and restaurants along the way can make this short distance and all-day event. Nearby, the Charles River is famous for its regattas and a great place to rent a sail boat to take in the beauty of the Boston skyline. Runners, bicyclists and walkers will want to hit the Esplanade, a meandering park situated on the Boston side of the Charles River which goes from Downtown all the way to Boston University near Cambridge. Flat and scenic, it's a great way to take in the city.
