The Inn at Sugar Hill

Built in 1846, The Inn at Sugar Hill in Mays Landing sits on the northeastern banks of Great Egg Harbor River. Originally the private home of state Sen. William Moore, the mansion was restored by the Boylan family and opened to the public in 1987. Guests enjoy a continental breakfast in one of the inn's Victorian dining rooms or on the enclosed veranda. Rooms feature river views with private baths and fireplaces. A 15-minute drive from Ocean City beaches and Atlantic City, The Inn at Sugar Hill offers a quiet, relaxing stay near hiking and bicycle trails.

Abbott House

The Abbott House in Mays Landing has sat on a bluff overlooking Egg Harbor River since the 1860s. Guests of this quiet Victorian-style Inn can enjoy the pool by day or venture to one of the area's kayak, bicycle or canoe rentals. In Egg Harbor Township, 11 miles east of Mays Landing, the Residence Inn offers visitors spacious accommodations near the lakes and rivers of Mays Landing.
