Hotels in Port aux Basques, Newfoundland
The town of Port aux Basques rests on the southwesternmost tip of Newfoundland in Canada. During the spring and summer time, it is a premiere location for fishing and boating; but once the winter and fall roll around, this little town starts to slow down and fishing expeditions dwindle. Therefore, if you are planning a trip to Port aux Basques, it is best to go during the warmer months of the year.

Hotel Port aux Basques

In addition to these amenities, the suites come with separate living, dining and sleeping areas as well as in-room Jacuzzis and pull-out couches. Maclellan Inn

The Maclellann Inn is a boutique hotel that is more like an upscale bed-and-breakfast than a hotel. It has six standard rooms, all of which are decorated differently. The sunflower room for example, is made up in yellow hues, while the rose room is painted a delicate red. Each of these standard rooms come with satellite television, coffee and tea makers and separate living and sleeping areas. For those who want more luxury and space, the hotel has a handful of suites, which have kitchenettes with refrigerators and microwaves as well as separate living sleeping and dining rooms, private fireplaces and personal laundry facilities. Though this hotel does not have any in-house dining options, it is near some of Port aux Basques' local restaurants and entertainment.
