Indian Restaurants Near Poway, California
Poway, Calif., has scenic beauty that attracts outdoor sports enthusiasts who love hiking, mountain biking and running, but finding a place to eat around this rural town can be difficult, especially if you enjoy Indian food. Thankfully, there a few excellent eateries in the area that serve authentic South Asian cuisine.

Royal India Restaurant

Royal India Restaurant is located in downtown San Diego, about 15 minutes away from Poway. It has earned many awards from local newspapers, including being named the best Indian restaurant in San Diego by the Union Tribune. If diners are looking for deals, there is an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet Monday through Friday and a champagne brunch Saturday and Sunday. For business meetings or celebratory functions, Royal India can be rented out for a flat fee.

For meat lovers, there is tandoori chicken and lamb, as well as chicken tikka and a wide variety of kebabs. Seafood lovers will want to try the fish kofta and the lobster vindaloo.
