The Panorama Hotel
The Panorama Hotel dates to the early 20th century and is located right in front of the Venetian Lagoon, on the Lido of Venice, long known as "the Golden Island" due to its fine sandy beaches and its beauty. The Hotel Bristol features two fresh-water swimming pools, one specifically for children and the other right at the waterfront. Each guest has at her disposal beach beds, beach umbrellas, a snack bar and beach towels in the terrace area. The Hotel Cristallo is also on the Venice Lido and can be found between the piers for Venice and the wonderful beach. Built in 1993, the hotel has three floors, with a lift and simple Renaissance style. Emphasis is on function at the hotel. It has a small garden where guests can have breakfast or relax in the evening with a drink; it even provides a private garage to each guest. There are booths on the beach provided for guests of the hotel to relax in the sun and sand. The hotel has a family feel, with intimate and nicely furnished rooms with private baths, satellite TV, air conditioning and telephone. The hotel provides breakfast overlooking the garden, and the staff is helpful with local information. Pricing for the hotel in 2009 starts at $58.
