Ice Bar in Orlando, Florida
The Travel Channel lists Ice Bar as one of the most extreme ice bars in the world. It is the planet's largest permanent ice bar, with everything--the bar, furniture and glasses--created from more than 50 tons of carved ice. Temperatures are so cold that guests can only stay for 45 minutes; however, the bar does offer capes and gloves to keep you warm.

Icehotel in Sweden
According to James Proctor, author of the Brandt travel guide to Lapland, Icehotel, situated near the village of Jukkasjarvi in Swedish Lapland, is the biggest, oldest and best ice hotel in the world, with the widest range of accommodations and activities for guests. First built during the winter of 1994, it is reconstructed each year from 10,000 tons of ice from the Torne River and 30,000 tons of snow. Temperatures range from -4 to -9 degrees Celsius. Beds are made from ice, and custom-made sleeping bags and reindeer skins keep you warm at night. While staying at the Icehotel, you can go on snowmobile tours, skiing trips, moose safaris and excursions to the high mountains and fjords. Afterward, unwind while watching performances in the open-air theater or enjoying a drink in one of the world's most famous ice bars.

Deer pelt bedding, hot chocolate and heated bathrooms add a touch of warmth to days filled with cross-country skiing, skating and ice fishing. Alpha Tomamu Resort in Japan
According to FreshPowder, the ice hotel at the Alpha Tomamu Resort in Tomamu, Japan, is one of the best in the world for skiers seeking an adventurous overnight stay. It is located in eastern Hokkaido, where temperatures drop as low as -20 degrees Celsius. Special techniques, similar to those used to build snow huts called kamakura, allow the structures making up the resort's ice village to be built from water and snow (no pillars). Chairs and beds are made from ice, as are the counter, tables, chairs and handmade glasses in the hotel bar. The resort offers steeply pitched slopes as well as heliskiing during February and March.
