Restaurants in Torrey, Utah
The town of Torrey is in Wayne County in the south-central part of Utah. It is located just eight miles away from Capitol Reef National Park, which is known for its hiking trails. Torrey is a vacation destination known for its pleasant summers and cold winters. Aside from a number of outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing, there are many restaurants where you can enjoy a wonderful and affordable meal in Torrey.

Cafe Diablo

Cafe Diablo is one of the restaurants listed in The New York Times' "1,000 Places to See in the U.S.A. & Canada Before You Die." Its menu consists of Southwestern cuisine made from organic ingredients such as Marinated Loin of Utah Lamb and Rattlesnake Cakes. Pastries, bread and ice cream are homemade. It has a long list of tequilas, margaritas, beer and wine and accepts catering and groups by appointment. Café Diablo is open seasonally from April to October from 5 to 10 p.m. seven days a week.

Slackers

Slackers, formerly known as Brink's Burgers Drive-In, is a burger place with a cafe-like setting. Aside from hamburgers, other items on Slackers' menu include old-fashioned chocolate malt, hot chicken and fish sandwiches, hotdogs, blue cheese burger, French fries and onion rings. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there's a park where your children can play where you can keep an eye on them while sitting at outdoor picnic tables. The operating hours are daily from 11 a.m. to between 7 and 9 p.m. Slackers is open seasonally from March to October.

Rim Rock Inn Restaurant

RimRock Inn Restaurant is featured in the cookbook "A Chef's Bounty: Celebrating Oregon's Cuisine." The menu consists of homemade country-style entrees with a lunch menu of salad, soup, panini sandwiches and burgers and a dinner menu of appetizers, salad and soup, house specialties, steaks and burgers. Ingredients are fresh each night and paired with Northwest regional wines and beers. You can choose to dine outdoors on the deck, in the main dining room or in the private dining room. RimRock Inn Restaurant is open weekly from Thursday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can also choose to stay the night in fully outfitted tepees or in an RV space.
