Beal Street BBQ

For nearly 20 years, Beale Street BBQ has worked hard to bring its patrons premier USDA-graded all natural meats and seafood found in the local marketplace. The owners are proud to announce they buy organic, certified humane and hormone- and antibiotic-free products. Appetizers range from Grilled Maine Crab Cakes to Smoked Hot Sausage. Entree choices include Ribs, Chicken and Crab. Jambalaya and various sides and sandwiches round out the menu. Prices range between $3.99 and $23.99. Hours are seven days a week, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Smokers and grills reign in this fresh and inviting restaurant.

Pepperclub

Pepperclub is popular for its great food, welcoming, lively atmosphere and friendly waitstaff. Located a short walk from downtown and minutes from the Atlantic coast, this hot spot offers local seafood and beef as well as lamb and poultry. Entrees include standard comfort choices to eclectic gourmet meals. Prices are reasonable. A variety of appetizers, soup, salads and desserts are also available. A substantial wine list and imported beers are offered. A lounge area is available while waiting for your table. Hours are Sunday through Thursday, 5-9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 5-10 p.m. Locals swear by the Pepperclub for a perfect dining experience any night of the week.
