Top Restaurants in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Once the second largest city in the British Empire, Philadelphia is now the quintessential all-American city. Famous for "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness," you can certainly get all that in Philadelphia. Known for its 23-mile Schuylkill River Trail where you can walk, run or cycle, kayaking on the Delaware River and boating at Nockamixon State Park. Hikers will enjoy the 640-acre Nottingham Barrens and its rare plants and animals. Don't miss Philadelphia's top restaurants either. They boast some of the best cuisine in the country.

Le Bec Fin

Le Bec Fin serves an elegant and classic French menu known throughout Philadelphia as one of the best in the city. The restaurant opened in 1970 and has since become one of Philadelphia's must-try eateries. From the moment you walk into Le Bec Fin, everything is lovely. Sparkling chandeliers, beautifully laid tables and the excellent service make this Philly tradition a wonderful choice. Its extensive menu includes favorites such as Maine lobster salad, pan-seared foie gras and rack of Colorado lamb. Leave room for slivers of its aged cheeses or one of the chef's special desserts. The restaurant is on the high-end, but it has recently developed an additional set menu that's more affordable but still delicious. Le Bec Fin is a wonderful place for an elegant, relaxing dinner after a day on Philadelphia's hiking trails.
