Coconut Lagoon
Located near Dalhousie Street, the Coconut Lagoon offers rich and delicious South Indian food as well as an impressive variety of vegetarian dishes. Try the biryani rice dishes and unique homemade desserts. Prices in 2009 range from $5 to $15. Coconut Lagoon also serves a daily lunch buffet and weekend brunch buffet that features the restaurant's specialty of masala dosa, a potato or mixed vegetable South Indian delicacy. Haveli Indian Restaurant
Haveli Indian Restaurant has preserved the luxurious Haveli culinary tradition of India by serving delicately spiced specialties and maintaining the original Indian way of eating breads and rice dishes with hands rather than utensils (which are available) since 1984.
