Casey Jones Village
All aboard to Casey Jones Village, a collection of shops, restaurants and activities dedicated to the legendary engineer. Kids can live out their conductor dreams in a life-size train set. Learn about the life of Jackson native Casey Jones through a film that runs in the train station theater. Play a round on the Mini Golf course. Take a lunch break at Brook Shaw's Old Country Store Restaurant, or treat the kids at the 1890s Ice Cream Parlor and Fudge Shop. A live bluegrass band performs every Thursday evening.

Davy Crockett's Cabin
Take the kids back in time with a visit to the last home of Davy Crockett. This historical cabin is built from logs dating back to the 1820s. Crockett's home houses a museum full of 1800s furniture and artifacts, as well as books and letters from his legendary days in Congress. The museum is open from May through October.

Donnell Century Farm
Set in a 1920s mule barn, the Donnell Century Farm offers hands-on lessons for children. The kids can learn to milk wooden cows, collect eggs from the chicken coop and even pick cotton. Let them choose their own pumpkin from the patch. Take an old-fashioned hayride through the grounds. Children can get up close at the petting zoo. Donnell Century Farm is available for educational tours. The farm is open every Saturday in October.
