The King Center is a small park near the center of Atlanta. The park honors the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. and features a memorial plaque and the Freedom Walkway, The park is conveniently located close to the Kevin Rathbun Steak restaurant. Rathbun, owner and proprietor, wanted to create a modern-style steakhouse atmosphere with a modern menu. In 2007, he purchased an old cotton warehouse and worked with it until it became one of the most recognized steak houses in Atlanta. You will find menu items such as crab cakes, rib-eye steaks and oysters on the half shell. If you are looking to explore something new, the menu also includes baked escargot and Japanese wagyu burgers. Desert items include ice cream, crepes, sorbet and pie.

Bone's

Frankie Allen Park provides you with a wide array of outdoor sport activities like tennis, volleyball and baseball. Fine steak dining is only a short distance away from the park at Bone's, but you may want to retire your sports cleats and choose something a little more formal. At Bone's, you will find all of your food served on fine china over a cream-colored tablecloth. The steaks available at Bone's include filet mignon, porterhouse and New York strip. To brighten a dilapidated section of the city for the 1996 Olympics, Atlanta built the Centennial Olympic Park. Only a few blocks away from the park, you will find Durango.
