Located in the German Village section of Columbus, Schmidt's Restaurant Und Sausage Haus has been making homemade sausages since 1886. Known for its old-world atmosphere and authentic German cuisine, diners are invited to come by for lunch or dinner seven days a week. Live entertainment in the form of German or American music can often be found at Schmidt's. Old Mohawk Restaurant

Open under various names since 1933 and located in Columbus's German Village, this restaurant offers German cuisine mixed with some Greek and American dishes. The restaurant is famous for its turtle soup at $6.79 a bowl, the Mother Mohawk Sandwich at $8.49 which is a combo of roast beef, Swiss cheese, and chicken salad on rye bread, and their Bucyrus Bratwursts at $11.99, which are made from scratch in nearby Bucyrus.
