DABA
Located in nearby Hudson, but well worth the drive over the Rip Van Winkle Bridge, DABA serves dinner Monday through Saturday. The contemporary American restaurant is a warmly decorated treasure tucked into the Catskill Region. Setting the scene for the culinary treats to come, an amuse bouche is served prior to the first course. The menu includes items such as grilled Filet Mignon in blueberry vodka sauce; lamb rack served with white wine cherry sauce and sauteed fruit; Swedish meatballs; and risotto Disaronno. DABA also serves simpler menu items such as burgers and a BLT. Desserts include seasonal fruit crumb pie served with vanilla ice cream made in-house; caramel mousse; white chocolate cheesecake served with a mixed berry sauce; and a chocolate crème brulee.
