The popular lunch buffet includes everything from spicy soups and vegetarian entrees to hearty curry dishes and Tandoori specialties. The Tikka Masala is a house specialty, consisting of boneless chicken breast pieces grilled and smothered in masala sauce. Another top choice here is the Taka Tak-Qeema, which is ground lamb or chicken cooked with tomatoes, ginger and onions.

Guru Palace Cusine of India

This popular spot also features an impressive lunch buffet. Diners here can munch on kabobs, curry dishes, ground meats and a wide selection of vegetarian entrees. Royal Taj

Though this restaurant isn't located in Mesa, it is just a short 5-mile drive away in nearby Tempe. This restaurant is known for serving authentic Indian cuisine. Of particular note is the complete Tandoori dinner. It consists of Chicken Tikka, Tandoori Chicken, Dhal, Vegetable Curry, rice and a meat curry. It's a good way to experience a sample of Indian flavors.
