Vegan Restaurants in Reno, Nevada

Vegan Restaurants in Reno, Nevada
While nearby Tahoe gives Reno visitors a chance to expend a little energy on any one of a number of healthy activities, from water skiing to snowboarding (depending on the season), a return to the flash and extravagance of "The Biggest Little City in the World" doesn't have to mean a break from healthful living. Reno is home to several vegan- and vegetarian-friendly restaurants for the health-conscious and animal-friendly.

Pneumatic Diner

A kitschy hit with Reno locals, the Pneumatic Diner is an off-the-beaten-path, vegan-friendly eatery and coffee shop. The Pneumatic Diner does not accept reservations or credit cards, so be sure to bring cash and have a little time to spare waiting for a table if you plan to eat in. Stop in on Sunday morning and try the diner's hailed vegan waffles, only available until noon.

The Dandelion Deli closes after lunch and is not open weekends, so make sure you plan a visit to the diner accordingly.
