Sebastien's Bistro
Sebastien's Bistro is owned and operated by a couple from the French islands of Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, located just off the Canadian Atlantic coast. With its French pedigree assured, you can expect eclectic French fare served in a casual art deco environment. The menu includes crab tartare, rack of lamb, steak frites and escargots. The Bistro has its own pastry chef, so be sure to leave room for dessert.

Fid Resto
Fid Resto has been impressing foodies in Halifax for over 10 years. It has been at the top of most of the critic's "Top 10" lists throughout that period. Fid reinvents French food by combining the cuisine with British and Asian flavors. Fid also uses locally grown ingredients whenever possible, which creates a unique and ever-changing menu. Items such as caramelized sea scallops with pork belly share the menu with seven-day marinated hanger steak and roasted garlic mashed potatoes.
