California Dreaming
Fresh ingredients and large portions are hallmarks of this local chain, which specializes in old-fashioned American cuisine. Open for lunch and dinner, California Dreaming is famous for its nachos, burgers, seafood, steaks and baby back ribs. The barbecue chicken is marinated in fruit juices and then broiled in barbecue sauce; on the side, you can choose from creamed spinach, steamed vegetables, fettuccini Alfredo or marinara, redskin mashed potatoes, french fries or a baked potato. The California Dreaming Salad is a hearty meal by itself, featuring mixed greens, chopped eggs, cured ham, turkey, two kinds of cheese, toasted almonds, tomatoes and bacon.

Opened by a couple in 1983 with little more than a refrigerator and a toaster oven, Rhinehart's has grown into one of Georgia's most famous seafood restaurants. Rhinehart's specializes in oysters, flaky fried shrimp, jambalaya and Buffalo wings. Every day of the week, they offer different lunch, dinner and beer specials. Note that after 5pm, guests under the age of 21 must have a parent or guardian accompany them.
