The King's Hill Inn is located on King's Hill in South Paris. This 1850s farmhouse was the birthplace of Horatio King, postmaster general under President Buchanan. Now a family-run bed-and-breakfast, King's Hill Inn features beautiful views of the scenic valley, where hiking and mountain biking trails abound. The inn's guest rooms are decorated with antique art and furnishings, and its famous seven-course breakfast is included in the room rate.

Inn Town Motel

The Inn Town Motel is just east of South Paris in the town of Norway. This small hotel features clean and comfortable guest rooms with air-conditioning, cable television, telephones and complimentary coffee. Each guest room also features high-speed Internet access. Mountains, rivers and lakes in the surrounding area are ideal for hiking, biking or canoeing. The Sunday River Ski Resort is also nearby, offering downhill and cross-country skiing.

Mollyockett Motel

Woodstock, a few miles north of South Paris, is home to the Mollyockett Motel. Mollyockett was an Algonquin Indian princess who was born in the Paris area in 1715. Legend has it that she nursed a sick child from Paris Hill back to health; this child grew up to be Hannibal Hamlin, Abraham Lincoln's vice president. The family-run motel that bears her name has 20 recently redecorated guest rooms, and some of the rooms include kitchenettes. The most impressive feature of the Mollyockett Motel is the massive 20-by-43-foot indoor heated swimming pool. The property also features a family-friendly restaurant and conference center.
