Merry Table is Portland's only crepe restaurant. The Poireaux is and $8 crepe filled with braised leeks, wild mushrooms and goat cheese. The warm cheese melted just enough inside the crêpe to create a sauce. The Poulet crêpe ($7.50) is filled with grilled chicken, oven roasted tomatoes, caramelized onions and arugula. But the dessert crepes may be the most popular. A sugary and memorable crepe is Banana and Nutella, made popular by street vendors in Paris, which oozes its chocolate hazelnut spread. Merry Table Creperie is a casual restaurant with indoor or outdoor café seating.

For bread-lovers, Standard Baking Company is the go-to spot in Portland. In addition to French-inspired baguettes and boules, the bakery can prepare crepes as well as feathery croissants and brioches.
