Boats pick up travelers on Portland's waterfront and sail to Cow Island they can kayak, rock climb, or swing on a 400 foot zip-line through the trees and toward the shore.

Merry Table Crêperie

At long last, French sweet and savory crêpes have come to Portland, Maine. Located at 43 Wharf Street, The Merry Table Crêperie serves authentic, delicious, tasty melt in your mouth crêpes that bring locals and tourists into to try. Merry Table is Portland's only crepe restaurant. The Poireaux is and $8 crepe filled with braised leeks, wild mushrooms and goat cheese. The warm cheese melted just enough inside the crêpe to create a sauce. The Poulet crêpe ($7.50) is filled with grilled chicken, oven roasted tomatoes, caramelized onions and arugula. But the dessert crepes may be the most popular. A sugary and memorable crepe is Banana and Nutella, made popular by street vendors in Paris, which oozes its chocolate hazelnut spread. Merry Table Creperie is a casual restaurant with indoor or outdoor café seating.
