This resort, on the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene, has received numerous awards and honors. It has been named one of the world's 500 best hotels by "Travel+Leisure" magazine as well as one of the top 10 ski resorts by Zagat. The resort's golf course was named one of the 100 best by "Conde Nast Traveler" magazine in 2007. The world's only floating green (located in the lake) is part of the course. The spa was named the "world's most romantic" by MSNBC. The resort is home to six restaurants that serve a variety of cuisines. In addition to golf, ski slopes are nearby. Visitors also can book fly-fishing classes through the hotel. Lake cruises depart from Independence Point, near the resort.

Silver Lake Motel Convention and Banquet Center
In the central part of the city, this motel offers standard rooms, rooms with full kitchens and suites with Jacuzzis. The hotel is separated into two buildings, one next to the pool and one next to the conference center. The conference center contains several different-sized rooms. Discount tickets to the nearby Silverwood Theme Park are available through the motel. Although there are no restaurants or golf courses on the property, several are close by.
