Hotels in Boyne City Mountain
Boyne Mountain, Mich. offers an abundance of outdoor activities year-round. Although Boyne is known for its skiing and snowboarding, you can also snowshoe and dogsled in the winter, and mountain bike or hike fantastic trails in the spring, summer and fall. There are a number of quality hotels to choose from when planning a trip to Boyne Mountain, from extravagant to economical.

Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa

The Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa is Boyne Mountain's most luxurious hotel. The architecture is reminiscent of an Austrian inn, complete with a gigantic fireplace in the main lobby. This non-smoking hotel offers 220 hotel rooms, but if you need more space, it also has one-, two- and three-bedroom hotel suites available that can accommodate up to 10 people, complete with kitchens, fireplaces and plasma televisions. You'll be able to walk to the ski slopes or take a quick drive to the golf course in the summer. A heated indoor/outdoor pool is open year-round, and free Wi-Fi is available. The lodge's restaurant, Everett's, features American cuisine, with everything from seafood to sandwiches. Condé Nast readers rated the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa as one of the "Top 50 Ski Hotels" in North America in 2007.

Clock Tower Lodge

The Clock Tower Lodge is situated right at the foot of the Boyne Mountain slopes so that you can ski in and out. While not as new and luxurious as the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa, the Clock Tower Lodge is a non-smoking hotel with rooms that sleep up to five guests. This hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a heated pool open year-round, free Wi-Fi and some suites with sitting areas. The Clock Tower Lodge's restaurant, Stein Eriksen's, offers hungry outdoor enthusiasts a range of hearty northern Michigan meals, from burgers to steaks to seafood. For more casual fare try the Trophy Room Pub and Pizzeria, or have its pizza delivered right to your hotel room.

Edelweiss Lodge

If you are strictly at Boyne Mountain for the skiing, then the Edelweiss Lodge is the hotel for you. The lodge is right on top of the Victor ski run, so that you can literally ski out the front door. The rooms, which can accommodate between two and six guests, all are non-smoking and offer free Wi-Fi. Because of its location, this hotel doesn't have a pool, but guests are welcome to walk over and use the heated pool at the nearby Clock Tower Lodge.
