Steak Restaurants in Livonia, Michigan

Steak Restaurants in Livonia, Michigan
Some of Metro Detroit's most picturesque trails--such as The Belle Isle Ramble, The Hines Drive Ramble and Grosse Pointe Ramble--happen to be near some great restaurants. After a morning or afternoon on one of these trails, you may want to try eating at one of Livonia's steak houses. These establishments are easily accessible by the avid cyclist or hiker and are sure to provide some scrumptious sustenance after a long day outside.

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Following a tough day on the trail, a hearty steak probably sounds pretty good. At Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, the staff will be sure to pamper you and ensure you stay relaxed during your indulgent dining experience. The company began in 1998, and this specific location opened in 2007. Fleming's sets a distinct precedent for both incredible food and service. In addition to the red meat fare, such as the 12-ounce filet mignon or the 22-ounce bone-in ribeye, Fleming's also offers 100 wines by the glass, as well as a special "5 for $6 'Til 7" deal in the bar daily until 7 p.m., during which time you may order from a variety of five cocktails, five appetizers and five wines by the glass for $6 each. Voted one of the top five best steakhouses in Detroit's 2008 "Vote for the Best" campaign, Fleming's gains and keeps its clientele by continuously attentive service rather than through low prices. The average dinner for two costs about $150 with drinks and dessert, and the restaurant does not open until 5 p.m. You'll have to leave the bike shorts at home when visiting this steakhouse, as the recommended dress code is business casual.

Herc's Prime Rib & Seafood

A local favorite since the 1970s, Herc's Prime Beef & Seafood is sure to fill you up after cycling the Hines Drive Ramble through western Wayne County. Literally right off the beaten path, this steakhouse is family oriented, though it also has a decently sized bar to cozy up to. With an extremely casual and laid back atmosphere, the Chemello family's restaurant is known for serving up home-style roast beef, seafood and sandwiches at an affordable price; in fact, the house specialty--Roast Beef--is only $11.95 for a full order. A family of four could easily eat for less than $50, and kids eat free on Mondays. The ambiance is very casual if not a bit outdated, so you may even feel free to mosey in after a leisurely ride, dusty bike shorts and all.

Great for either a date night or family night, Outback is constantly running seasonal specials that will help fit any budget.
