Restaurants in Lake Luzerne, New York
Lake Luzerne is known as the "Gateway to the Adirondacks," as the northern part of the town falls within New York State's Adirondack Park. A great place to stop for a last home-cooked meal before a long camping or hiking journey, or as a first destination after one, Lake Luzerne offers more variety than one would expect in its restaurant choices. While best known for its hosting of the Lake Luzerne Chamber Music Festival, which features a number of classical and jazz greats every August, the town offers hidden treasures for those willing to search them out.

Saratoga Rose Inn and Restaurant

With its gorgeous setting on a hilltop and historic 1885 Queen Anne Victorian structure, the Saratoga Rose Inn and Restaurant offers a unique experience as well as a solid meal for the weary traveler. The upscale menu is served in the sitting room, dining room and library of this gorgeous and well-preserved Victorian mansion. The menu is seasonal and features a variety of sublime (and wallet-busting) dishes and appetizers. The perfect destination for those wishing a return to civilization after a trip deep into the woods, the Rose Inn received 3 1/2 stars from the Albany Times Union in 2007 and was voted "best bed and breakfast in the Capital region" in 2006 and 2007 by Capital Region living magazine.
