Northeast Florida Camping Club

This Jacksonville, Florida-based club focuses on pop-up camping in northeastern Florida and southeastern Georgia. The club holds monthly camping trips and works to make camping trips more frequent, cost-effective, and enjoyable for its members. Dues are $25 per year per family.

Florida Trail Association
The Florida Trail Association (FTA) has facilitated the creation and maintenance of the Florida Trail, designated as the Florida National Scenic Trail in 1983, in addition to a significant number of adjoining and remote trails. While many of their organized hikes are day hikes, the FTA chapters throughout the state conduct a number of multi-day overnight camping hikes.

Tampa Adventure Group
While not exclusively restricted to camping, the Tampa Adventure Group does incorporate camping in many of its activities in central Florida. Boasting more than 2000 members, this group is interested in almost any imaginable outdoor activity from hiking and fishing to spelunking and SCUBA diving.

Wilderness Trekkers
This Orlando, Florida-based hiking and paddling group frequently incorporates overnight camping trips in its expeditions. The club is extremely active with multiple events each week. Most events are free for members aside from personal costs and membership is $20 per year for a family.

This north Florida hiking group is dedicated to exploring and enjoying natural Florida. Although possessing a relatively small membership, this new group is very active in the outdoors providing those interested with opportunities to get outside with like-minded people whenever desired.
