Good Neighbor Hotels Near Disneyland
Disneyland, the premier vacation destination in Southern California, has a variety of on-site hotels built in a myriad of styles and each priced differently. However, the cost of staying "on-site" at Disneyland is often too high for a family on a budget. The Good Neighbor Hotels are a variety of hotels in walking distance of the Magic Kingdom that have entered into an agreement with Disneyland to offer competitive pricing and a high level of customer satisfaction. Some of the Good Neighbor hotels are actually closer to the gates of the Magic Kingdom than the Disney properties.

Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites

The Camelot Inn is one of the closest "Good Neighbor" hotels to Disneyland. Located just across the street from the main entrance, this hotel features 121 guest rooms each with a refrigerator and coffee/tea maker. Family friendly you can stretch your budget with their complimentary continental breakfast daily. After a day at Disney, guests can unwind in their terrace level swimming pool and whirlpool. Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel

The Howard Johnson's Plaza features 318 guest rooms each with a private balcony, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker and hairdryer. Amenities include two swimming pools, water playground, whirlpool, kiddie pool, gift shop, adjacent restaurant, game room and guest laundry. If you can get rooms at the top of the two towers within the complex you'll have front row seats for Disney's nightly fireworks. A slightly long walk to the park, most of the Hojo guests take the hotel's shuttle bus for a nominal fee. Located next to the 5 freeway, some of the units can pick up significant highway noise and vibration from traffic. Be sure to request a room away from the freeway.

One of the more upscale properties, the Sheraton is situated on 13 acres of gardens. They have a koi pond as well as a heated outdoor pool and fitness center.
