Jacob Lake is in northern Arizona, on the state line with Utah. It's a popular destination for visitors to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, but Jacob Lake only has one hotel. Other hotels for visitors to Jacob Lake are on the road to the Grand Canyon North Rim (44 miles away) or in the nearby towns of Kanab, Utah (43 miles away) and Fredonia, Arizona (35 miles away).

Jacob Lake Inn

Jacob Lake Inn is the only hotel at Jacob Lake. Established in 1923, the Jacob Lake Inn is near many outdoor activities, such as mountain biking, fishing, hiking, horse back riding and, in winter, snowmobiling. Jacob Lake Inn is open year-round and is popular with visitors to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon (mid-May through mid-October).
Jacob Lake Inn offers hotel rooms with a choice of king, queen and double beds, in addition to standard room services of heating, air conditioning, shower and outdoor sitting area, some rooms have TVs, Internet access and telephone service. In addition, Jacob Lake Inn has cabins for rent within a landscaped area of native plants and trees and a waterfall. Cabins have basic facilities of a bed, shower, heating and patio area.

Kaibab Lodge

Kaibab Lodge is 26 miles south of Jacob Lake, 5 miles from the entrance to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Kaibab Lodge is open from mid-May to the beginning of November. Rooms at the Kaibab Lodge are in rustic cabins and have a double bed and private bathroom. Telephones or TVs are not in the rooms, but are available in the main lodge. Some cabins accommodate large groups.

Comfort Inn, Kanab

The Comfort Inn is in Kanab, Utah, 43 miles from Jacob Lake. Kanab has a wider variety of hotel rooms than nearby Fredonia and is close to the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Bryce and Zion national parks. Hotel rooms at the Comfort Inn in Kanab have private bathrooms, TVs, telephones, coffee makers, hairdryers, ironing boards and a complimentary breakfast. The hotel also accepts pets. Other Hotels near Jacob Lake

Many other hotels are in Fredonia and Kanab. Page, Arizona, is farther away from Jacob Lake but has a variety of hotel rooms. In addition, accommodations can be found at the Grand Canyon Lodge in the Grand Canyon National Park (North Rim), 44 miles from Jacob Lake. However, the North Rim National Park is closed from mid-October to mid-May each year.
