1844 House

1844 House is an American bistro located in a 19th century farm hand's cottage. Known for cooking with local products of a superior quality, 1844 House offers elegant fine dining at its best. Only serving dinner, the menu screams "fresh" from the minute you pick it up. Delights such as Pumpkin Gnocchi, Onion Au Gratin soup, 1844 Salad (mixed greens with apples, walnuts and blue cheese) and Apple and Sausage Stuffed Pork Tenderloin are wonderful examples of the top notch regional cuisine 1844 serves. Dessert lovers shouldn't miss the Charlotte au Chocolat, moist, soft chocolate cake with three sauces: caramel, raspberry coulis and chocolate. 1844 House also has early dining, from 4:30-5:30pm. It features smaller portions of their evening dishes and at a fixed price. Perfect for those who want a lighter dinner option, but still want to experience this lovely cottage-style restaurant.
