Steak Houses in Roseville, Michigan

Steak Houses in Roseville, Michigan
Some of Michigan's most scenic trails, such as The Hines Drive Ramble, Belle Isle Ramble and Grosse Pointe Ramble, are in and around Metro Detroit. When riding these trails, you might consider dining at one of the Roseville area's steak houses. These restaurants are easily accessible by the avid outdoor enthusiast and are sure to provide some much-needed nourishment after a day on the trail.

Mr. Paul's Chophouse

After a long day outside, it feels good to sit down, relax and be pampered for a few hours. At Mr. Paul's Chophouse, indulgence is their goal. The Gogo family has owned and operated the Hhophouse since 1968, and it's still a local favorite, even winning 1st Place in the 2008 Best Steakhouse competition in Detroit's annual "Vote 4 the Best" contest. Elegant yet cozy, Mr. Paul's encourages patrons to stay for a few hours and make an experience out of their meal. Some unique touches the restaurant has to offer include tableside-prepared Caesar salads and an array of old standbys, such as the French Cut Lamb Chops and the Chateaubriand For Two, which is also served tableside. Dishes like this have become synonymous with Mr. Paul's Chophouse in the Roseville, MI area. There is an extensive wine list for the adults, and crayons and kids' menus are offered to children. Dress attire is business casual for both lunch and dinner, so be sure to keep those dusty bike shorts at home or the hotel. Diners can easily expect to pay at least $80 for dinner for two.

LongHorn Steakhouse

LongHorn Steakhouse is known for its authentic Western fare and feel, so you can still feel at home on the trails as you dine. The moment you walk through the restaurant doors, a rustic, Western ambiance surrounds you. Overhead, cattle horns and busts adorn the walls while country music twangs in the background. A more reasonably priced option than the traditional elegant chophouse, LongHorn is known for large portions of indulgent steak dinners and hearty, Southern-style appetizers. Famous for their extensive steak menu, meals for those who aren't fans of steak might include a bowl of Authentic Ranch House Chili with some Redrock Grilled Shrimp or Rocky Top Chicken basted in BBQ sauce. Kid-friendly, this steakhouse caters to families, and a family of 4 could easily eat for less than $50. LongHorn is a chain restaurant, however, so it won't offer the tailored, personal service some of the other steakhouses in the Roseville area might put forward.

Logan's Roadhouse

Hailed as a traditional roadhouse, Logan's Roadhouse opened its first location in 1991 and has been expanding ever since. Known for their steaks and buttery yeast rolls, Logan's also provides bottomless buckets of in-shell peanuts to its patrons; a distinctive treat people will go back for again and again. Open for lunch and dinner, you can feel comfortable dining in shorts and a dusty tee-shirt while nibbling on some hand battered Roadhouse 'Shrooms or Smokin' Hot Grilled Wings before diving into your steak. There are salads and a few vegetarian options available, as well, for anyone with a meat opposition. Complete with a daily happy hour and reasonable prices, Logan's is an easy bet for a relaxing, casual meal with some fellow outdoor enthusiasts after a day on the trail.
