The pub-style restaurant and bar has plenty of TVs to catch every game. Black Bear Saloon brings in a live DJ Thursday through Saturday nights. A full menu of American cuisine is served until 10 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday, and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. An abbreviated bar menu is served until close. With a microbrewery on site, and live comedy weekend nights, City Steam Brewery Café is popular with locals and tourists. The American menu is diverse, with steaks, burgers, ribs, seafood, and omelets served all day. City Steam has been voted Best Brew Pub in local publications' reader polls in 2008 and 2009. The Brewery Café operates out of a 9-story historic downtown building known for its Romanesque architecture. City Steam opens at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
