Cabo Tequila Grille

Contemporary Mexican cuisine is what's for dinner at Cabo Tequila Grille. Recipes at this trendy restaurant use gourmet ingredients including cilantro cream, portabellas and lime vinaigrette. Start the evening with Habanero Wings served with a buttermilk queso fresco dipping sauce for $8.95. Then order the Crispy Tilapia with avocado, mango, chimichurri sauce and sofrito rice for $17.95. Vegetarian options are available in every section of the menu. Cabo Tequila Grille serves dinner Tuesday through Thursday from 5 to 9:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday 4 to 9 p.m.

Restaurant Du Village

French cuisine brings inspiration to the innovative dishes served at Restaurant Du Village. This unique eatery serves petite portions rather than large entrees. They suggest ordering three or more plates per person. Menu highlights include Charred, Spiced Moroccan Squab with Cous Cous and a Curried Vinaigrette ($16.95), Egg in a Hole with Smoked Salmon, Caviar, and Crème Fraiche ($12) and Cumin Crusted Loin Lamb Chops with A Sweet Potato Hash and Gingered Figs ($15). Restaurant Du Village accepts dinner reservations from 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday with a French Sunday Supper served Sunday noon to 5 p.m.

Lupo

Lupo serves gourmet Americana cuisine. This restaurant won the Connecticut Magazine Readers Choice Award 5 years in a row. Eclectic menu choices include Little Bites, Big Bites and Salads. Little Bites are like tapas and include Sauteed Tiger Shrimp ($11) and Mushroom Gratin ($8). Big Bites are plated as entrees. Try the Bouillabaisse ($28) or Linguini Pomodoro ($16). Tempting vegetarian selections are available but limited. Lupo serves dinner Tuesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. and offers a children's menu.
