John's Cafe

Serving American cuisine with a Mediterranean twist, John's Cafe is a cozy, bistro-style restaurant with amazing food, and some of the nicest staff ever. Relaxed, and casual, the lunch menu includes clam chowder soup, burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, fish and chips and pizza. Dinner is a little less casual but still relaxed with offerings such as pan roasted duck breast, linguini with shrimp, and herb roasted pork chops. The dessert menu is something special too. The blueberry bread pudding with ice cream is sumptuous, and the profiteroles with ice cream, bananas and a rum caramel sauce are decadent. There's also an extensive menu of after dinner drinks, with some superb brandies, ports, sherries, madeiras, and scotch.
