The Marcus Whitman Hotel
Named for the founder of the area's first mission, this hotel opened in 1928. After a period of decline in the late 20th century, the hotel has been restored to its original condition and is Walla Walla's flagship hotel. Green Gables Inn
Located adjacent to the beautiful Whitman College campus, the Green Gables Inn is a historic house built in 1909 and since converted to a bed and breakfast. The Inn offers free Wi-Fi, private bathrooms, complimentary hot breakfast served on antique china, and complimentary wine tours to several local wineries. Guests can take their pick of rooms whose names are taken from the book "Anne of Green Gables." Some rooms have claw-foot tubs, and one has a jacuzzi tub. Fat Duck Inn
This hotel, located in a historic Craftsman house, is as much about food and wine as it is about accommodation.
