Located in the central part of Belgium, Zaventem is one of the region's best known tourist spots. Though it is a small region, it has a varied history and influence from several different cultures. The official language is Dutch, as is tradition everywhere in Flanders, but minorities from other European nations, the United States, Canada and French-speakers also call this place home. With seven parks in town and several forms of easy to use transportation, including a major airport, Zaventem has become one of Belgium's fastest growing tourist stops over the past few years. Just 39 steps from the Brussels airport gate, this hotel functions primarily as a stop for busy business travelers. As the capital of Europe, Brussels deals largely in business travel, and the Courtyard is no exception.
