The Fireside Motel
The Fireside Motel is located steps from a rocky beach in the quiet town of Yachats, Oregon. The Yachats area offers several more-relaxed outdoor activities, including fishing and birdwatching near the beach at Smelt Sands State Recreation Site and beachcombing at Stonefield Beach State Recreation Site. The hotel allows up to two "well-behaved and well-groomed pets" in selected rooms and will provide you with special towels, sheets, and pooper scoopers. The Lighthouse Inn
The Lighthouse Inn has been in operation since 1938 in Florence, Oregon, but it offers modern amenities, including free Wi-Fi. Florence is a magnet for sand lovers all over the region because of its proximity to Oregon Sand Dunes National Recreation area. The Looking Glass Inn
Located 100 feet from the beach south of Lincoln City, this hotel allows up to two dogs per room for an additional fee of $10 per night, as of November 2009. At check-in, you'll receive a "dog basket" with towels, sheets, dog bowls, pooper scooper bags, and dog treats. All rooms have gas fireplaces and free Wi-Fi, and a continental breakfast is included. Some rooms have kitchens if you prefer to self-cater. If you'd like to picnic or go fishing, head over to the H.B. Van Huzer Forest State Scenic Corridor, about 15 miles inland from the hotel. Stunt kite enthusiasts can visit one of several kite shops in town and purchase a kite to fly on Lincoln City's consistently windy beach.
