The Deerfield Inn

The Deerfield Inn is in Franklin County on Old Main street at the center of a 350-year-old national historic landmark village. Built in 1884 when travelers arrived by stage coach, and later a trolley line, the Inn was established by two brothers. As reported in the local Gazette at the time, the town was plagued by locusts during the first summer of the Inn's operations. The Deerfield Inn has since been known for its comfort and charm. Amenities include complimentary continental breakfast, rooms with a private bath, televisions, and free Internet. Guests are welcome to enjoy the comforts of the lobby's fireplace or explore the on-site Deerfield museum. The Deerfield Inn is also near the river and Champney's Tavern, which is attached to the Inn and serves local beers, weekend dinners, and light lunches.
